A new project has been funded: MESApennines

Thanks to a conference between the University of Pisa, the Superintendency of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape for the provinces of Lucca and Massa Carrara, and the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas, we have resumed research activities in Garfagnana (Lucca). This is a territory where the University of Pisa has conducted numerous studies over the last twenty years, especially thanks to the work of colleagues C. Tozzi, M. Dini, P. Notini. The aim of this new project, “MESAppennines,” is to resume excavation activities in two contexts with evidence of Mesolithic and Neolithic habitation. We will keep you updated!
