During the “Incontri di Archeologia” (Meetings in Archaeology. Excavations and surveys of the University of Pisa in Italy and abroad) series, we presented some of the ongoing research by the PreIStoriA group. The theme of the day was “Prehistories and Protohistories of the Mediterranean and Ancient Near East.”
N. Mazzucco presented the results of excavations conducted at the Mesolithic site of Paridera Ballarín Marcial (PBM) in the Monegros region, near Sariñena, in the province of Huesca, Spain. PBM Project
S. Vitale presented the findings from surveys conducted on the island of Kos, with chronologies ranging from the Late Neolithic to the Middle and Late Bronze Age. Kos Project
